Interstellar

The movie Interstellar directed by Christopher Nolan is a different example of romantic film. It is focused on the intense beauty and awe-inspiring danger of space. Joe Cooper played by Matthew McConaughey is tasked with traveling through a wormhole to a distant star system in order to find another suitable planet for human life. While on this journey he learns to respect space for its power but also he learns to marvel at its many wonders and mysteries that are hidden within the darkness. He finally finds peace with himself in the end when he is reunited with his daughter in a dramatic final scene.
