Tomb Raider

In the game Tomb Raider, you play as Lara Croft after being shipwrecked on a seemingly cursed island off the coast of Japan. Throughout the story, she has to rely on her wits and is often times alone whilst dueling with the forces of nature. She learns to survive and to respect the power of nature as well as finding out that she is stronger than she thinks. While playing the game, the player gets a strong sense of individualism as you are often facing adversity on your own. Lara does not have anyone to guide her throughout most of the game and she has to rely on her inner strength. Nature is also a big theme through the game as the player gets to explore sprawling forests, towering mountains, and cavernous trenches, and ancient tombs. There is no shortage of artifacts and lore that the player can find in game allowing them to become deeply ingrossed in the story.
